Prosthetics Solutions
Types of Prosthetics We Offer
1. Customized Artificial Eyes
Ocular prostheses, commonly known as artificial eyes, are designed for patients who have lost an eye due to trauma, surgery, or medical conditions such as cancer. These prosthetic eyes are also used for patients with shrunken or damaged eyes (phthisical eyes), congenital absence of an eye (anophthalmos), or abnormally small eyes (microphthalmos). Each artificial eye is meticulously customized to closely match the natural appearance of the healthy eye, restoring a natural look and improving facial symmetry.
2. Customized Prosthetic Contact Lenses
Prosthetic contact lenses are specially crafted to cover the cornea when it becomes cloudy or opaque, enhancing both the appearance and function of the eye. These lenses are tailored to blend seamlessly with the unaffected eye, using custom colors and detailed designs to ensure a realistic look. Prosthetic contact lenses are ideal for individuals with corneal scarring, opacification, or conditions like aniridia and coloboma, helping restore a more natural eye appearance while reducing light sensitivity and discomfort.
